Sintai Corporation Pte Ltd was established in Singapore in 1992, with our first factory situated in Nan-Hai, China, selling only wooden market umbrellas at the time. Excellence in the company's quality and marketing strategies led to highly positive support from the market. Due to increasing demand, Sintai Company decided to set up a second factory in Dong-Guan City (Guang-Dong Province). The decision brought Sintai Company's umbrella manufacturing business into a whole new era.
In 1997, our president decided to move all factories together to Dong-Guan City for better management and higher quality control. Our factory headquarter now occupies a total land size of 110,000 m2, of which about 70% is utilized. With ample sunlight and greeneries in the factory, Sintai had provided a comfortable and relaxing environment for both its employees and visitors.
We have been supplying umbrellas to many of the largest name brands in the world for years and in turn have evolved to understand that quality assurance is the key advantage in all business today. With both our high quality management and strong development team, we are able to come up with new items every year to satisfy our customer's needs and at the same time guaranteeing our quality level. With huge volume of umbrellas sold every year (e.g. more than 1,400,000pcs sold in 2005 season to more than 150 companies worldwide), we are able to drive our cost to a minimum and transfer that cost advantage to our customers. We are confident to say that we are amongst the lowest-priced suppliers with high quality level. Our annual turnover for 2005 season was about US$48,000,000.00, a 10% increase from the previous year. During our peak season we employ about 2,700 workers in our factory and are able to produce about 8~10 x 40ft containers per day.
